Role of Suppliers, Manufacturers, Designers, Importers towards Health and Safety

In a global supply chain system , all suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, designers, and importers have the same responsibility towards safety and health.

They have responsibilities to ensure :

• Their products are safe.
• Product are adequately designed and tested so as to be safe for their intended purpose.
• Manufacture must eliminate the known defect in their product , must provide safety devices, give adequate information about how to use the product and put warning stickers on the product advising consumers about potential dangers.
• Product should come with appropriate instructions, manual .
• Appropriately tested so as their hazardous properties are understood.
• Properly packed and labelled.
• Provide  safety data sheet (SDS)  of the chemical products.
